This summary is for convenience only; the full agreement below applies.
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you (the person or company that bought or installs the software, "Licensee") and RevaMagento ("Licensor"). It applies to the Reva Stock & Price Alert extension for Magento 2, including its source code, templates, images, documentation and any updates provided by the Licensor (together, the "Software"). By installing, copying or using the Software you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License Grant
1.1 The Software is licensed, not sold. Subject to payment and this Agreement, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on ONE (1) production Magento installation (one Magento instance, with any number of websites and store views managed from that instance).
1.2 The Licensee may also install the Software on development, staging and testing copies of that same installation, provided they are not publicly accessible production stores.
1.3 Each additional production Magento installation requires an additional license.
2. Permitted Changes
2.1 The Software is delivered with its source code. The Licensee may modify the Software for use on its licensed installation only. Modified versions remain subject to this Agreement.
2.2 The Licensor is not responsible for problems caused by modifications made by the Licensee or by third parties, and support may be limited for modified versions.
3. Restrictions
The Licensee may not, without prior written permission from the Licensor:
- (a) sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute or otherwise make the Software or any modified version of it available to third parties;
- (b) publish the Software or its source code, including in public code repositories;
- (c) use the Software, or any part of it, to create or sell a competing product;
- (d) remove or change copyright, license or ownership notices in the Software.
Agencies and developers may install the Software for a client, provided the client holds its own
valid license for that installation.
4. Updates and Support
4.1 The purchase includes updates and support for twelve (12) months from the purchase date, as provided through the Adobe Commerce Marketplace and the Licensor's support channel.
4.2 Support covers questions about installing, configuring and using the Software and fixing defects in the Software. It does not cover custom development, third-party extensions or themes, server or hosting configuration, or problems caused by modifications.
4.3 After the support period, the Licensee may continue to use the version it has under this Agreement.
5. Ownership
The Software and all intellectual property rights in it remain the property of the Licensor. The
Licensee obtains only the rights expressly granted in this Agreement.
6. Third-party Software
The Software requires Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce and the free Reva Core module
(magereva/module-core), which are licensed separately under their own license terms.
7. Data
The Software processes data, such as customer email addresses, inside the Licensee's own Magento
installation. It does not send that data to the Licensor. The Licensee is the controller of that data
and is responsible for using the Software in line with applicable data protection laws.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled under the refund policy of the Adobe Commerce Marketplace in force at the time of
purchase.
9. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor disclaims all
warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose and non-infringement. The Licensor does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or
work without interruption. The Licensee should test the Software, and keep backups, before using it on
a production store.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for any indirect, incidental,
special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from
the use of or inability to use the Software. The Licensor's total liability under this Agreement is
limited to the amount the Licensee paid for the license.
11. Termination
This Agreement ends automatically if the Licensee breaches it. On termination the Licensee must stop
using the Software and delete all copies of it. Sections 3, 5, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.
12. General
12.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules.
12.2 If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
12.3 This Agreement is the entire agreement between the parties about the Software and replaces any earlier agreement about it.
